A coupage of Mantonegro, Callet, Merlot, Cabernet and Syrah, matured between 12 & 14 months in fine grain oak barrels.

A very smooth & intense wine with waves of Atlantic freshness typical of vintages from the high Westerly provinces of La Rioja. Elegant, delicate, with a good body that persists through the mouth. The fruit is very complex and spicy, finishing with an explosion of freshness.
The Mortitx vineyard is located in the “Sierra de Tramuntana”, 390m above sea-level offering its own Micro-climate which gives their wines unique expression of the terrain in which they grow. Pink Salmon colour, aromas reminiscent of white flowers and fruits, such as peaches and apricots. Fresh, complex, very good taste and well balanced.

This is one of the last remaining independent Champagne houses which has been family managed since 1889. The house apparently holds Cru Classe wines in Magnum bottles to age for ten to fifteen years which are blended into the Special Cuvée. Champagne Bollinger is featured in almost every Bond movie since Live And Let Die in 1973.
Although it is still young, this vintage of Cristal promises great things. There’s an impressive balance between ripe fruit and crisp acidity, rich and food friendly, but also a fine apéritif. Apricot and grapefruit flavors are round and rich, but with considerable minerality as well.
