A coupage of Mantonegro, Callet, Merlot, Cabernet and Syrah, matured between 12 & 14 months in fine grain oak barrels.

In the mouth, this is a wine with character, with polished tannins that give lots of structure & fulfilment. There is a perfect balance from red berries & plums with a sweetness of vanilla & toffee from oak aging.

This wine exhibits a bottomless wealth of flavours which are supported by perfectly balanced tannins.

The Clos Vougeot 2007, has an earthy bouquet with florest floor. Red & dark berry aromas. On tasting, it is full, rich and powerful. It delivers a very lengthy impressive finish.

This is one of the last remaining independent Champagne houses which has been family managed since 1889. The house apparently holds Cru Classe wines in Magnum bottles to age for ten to fifteen years which are blended into the Special Cuvée.
